Our experts predict what's ahead for the Energy Transition

The energy transition is the global shift from fossil fuels to renewables and low-carbon energy sources to reduce energy-related carbon emissions and limit climate change.

We're betting on batteries

Global demand for batteries is climbing, driving supply chain growth, new technology and investment opportunities as companies race to achieve a competitive edge in the sector. Our cross-border, cross practice team has the knowledge and experience to create value and opportunities out of the current market.

Our Worldwide Projects Group came together in Copenhagen in July 2022 to dive deep into the issues businesses face globally in the ambition to becoming Net Zero. Take a look below at some of their predictions for what lies ahead around the world.

About our Energy Transition team

The energy transition requires a massive and increased rate of investment in renewable energy, increased electrification of industry, transportation, and heating, as well as the development of electrofuels like green hydrogen where electricity is not a good substitute for hydrocarbons, and carbon capture and storage at scale to capture emissions that cannot be prevented.

We advise clients on the full breadth of energy transition-related opportunities from a project financing and development, regulatory, M&A, joint venture and construction standpoint.
